Focus area: Balancing redevelopment and restoration

Our efforts support the integration of sustainability strategies into land use redevelopment that protects the environment while enhancing our regional economies and communities. Our priorities involve a variety of tasks, objectives, and goals that seek to create an environment along the basin in which economic development and sustainability go hand in hand. These planning – recognizing that our natural resources are vital to our economy, and encouraging citizens to embrace efforts to sustain the river community.
